RRB NTPC 2020 Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria prescribed for RRB NTPC is given below:

Age limit: The age limit for undergraduate posts is 18 to 30 years. The age limit for graduate posts is 18 to 33 years.

Educational qualification: For undergraduate posts, candidates must have passed class 12 or 10+2. For graduate posts, candidates must be a graduate from a recognized university.

RRB NTPC 2020 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern is divided into first stage CBT, second stage, CBAT and Typing Skill Test. Candidates can check below the RRB NTPC exam pattern as per different stages.

1st stage

The first stage CBT comprises three sections. The total duration of the test is 90 minutes. The test paper will have 100 objective type questions. The first stage CBT is qualifying in nature.

2nd stage

The second stage CBT comprises three sections. The exam consists of 120 questions. The duration of the test is 90 minutes.

CBAT

This test is specific to certain postcodes. The test comprises different test batteries. Each test battery consists of five to six tests. There is no negative marking in the exam.

Typing Skill Test

This test is specific to the post. Candidates will be given to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on Computer.


RRB NTPC 2020 Syllabus

The syllabus highlights the topics under each section of the exam. The standard of RRB NTPC syllabus is Class 10, 12 and graduation levels. RRB NTPC Books 2020

RRB NTPC Books for Mathematics

The Mathematics section of RRB NTPC carries 30 questions in the first stage while 35 questions in the second stage. The standard of questions asked in the exam is of high school level. Candidates can refer to the following RRB NTPC books for Mathematics.
